At the start of July, I attended the U18 EuroHockey Championship II in Glasgow as Manager for the Wales girls. We played Switzerland, Scotland and Czechia in the pool stages and narrowly missed out on reaching the semi final with Czechia scoring in the last 2 minutes of the game. We went into the play-offs facing Lithuania and Turkey, beating them both and therefore finishing 5th overall. It was an incredible experience for both players and staff!
