Harvest Celebration

on

On Wednesday, the students from Lower Prep to Lower III went across to Christ Church for our annual Harvest Celebration Assembly.

Father Peter Day led the service which was interspersed with singing the ever popular Harvest hymns. As usual the generosity of our students and their families knows no bounds and there were tins of vegetables, beans and soup, packets of pasta, boxes of cereals, porridge and biscuits, tea and coffee a plenty and some fresh produce.

The Charity Captains did a good job of sorting everything out before it all went off to feed the wider community. The recipients of all of our donations are New Beginnings, based in Reading and the local branch of The Salvation Army.
