At the beginning of the month, a number of footballers from Lower IV to Lower V enjoyed an unforgettable residential trip to PGL Liddington, combining focused sports training with a brilliant mix of adventure, fun, and team bonding.
Each morning kicked off with three hours of dedicated football training led by experienced FA coaches. The sessions were designed to sharpen skills, build confidence, and strengthen teamwork—helping players develop both individually and as a squad.
After lunch, the team swapped their football boots for a wide range of exciting activities. From testing their nerves on the trapeze to honing precision in archery and axe throwing, everyone embraced the challenges with enthusiasm and positivity. Evenings were just as lively, with highlights including a silent disco, friendly games of snooker, board-game battles, and a team quiz that sparked plenty of laughter and competitive spirit.
Throughout the trip, the girls showed fantastic sportsmanship, resilience, and camaraderie. It was wonderful to see them supporting each other, trying new experiences, and representing the school with pride.
A huge well done to all involved—this was a memorable week both on and off the pitch!
