Fun in Lower III Art

on

This term, Lower III have been studying still life. They have had a chance to practise different types of sketching, such as stippling and cross hatching, as well as try various watercolour techniques, for example charging and dragging to best capture the objects in front of them.

This week, they had an opportunity to create another still-life image, but with an exciting twist… They had to create a still-life with textiles using their imagination and a multitude of fun fabrics and materials, such as tulle, ribbons, and pipe cleaners, to name a few.

It was wonderful to see them let their imagination flow and collaborate to produce unique temporary art pieces.
