Fruit picking

on

Our Reception class had a fantastic time at Grays Farm on Friday picking fruit. The children loved hunting for the perfect, juicy strawberries and raspberries, filling their baskets to the brim. It wasn’t just about the harvesting, though—we also learned so much about how different fruits and vegetables grow, getting a firsthand look at them in their natural habitat. When we returned to school we washed and devoured our delicious, hand-picked treats!
