The U15-16 Abbey Football team hosted two matches on Wednesday against Little Heath and Bohunt School.

Considering it was the first week back to school, it was fantastic to have 12 players in the squad who fought hard throughout both games. Susie captained the team well, alongside Grace, and they collaborated well with the rest of the team.

Unfortunately, we lost both games 2-0 and 3-0, but Madeleine made some great saves in goal to keep the score down, with Yasmina battling hard in defence. We hope to have better success as the league progresses with the next game on Wednesday 18 September at John Madejski Academy.
