Congratulations on collecting an incredible 190kg of food donations for the Harvest! This week, we received a certificate and letter of thanks from Alison Peyton, the foodbank manager at Readifood: Reading’s Foodbank. She wrote:

‘Thank you and the children for your wonderful generosity in donating your Harvest Collection this year. These Harvest donations are very important to keep our stocks of food at a sustainable level, especially now with the issues presented by the cost of living crisis.

This food is an invaluable source of help to people experiencing Food Poverty across Greater Reading. Many people are still turning to our service for assistance. Over the 32 years FAITH Christian Group has existed, ReadiFood has become an important resource used by RBC, Social Service agencies, school support services and over 80 other Reading agencies. They call upon our service to support families and individuals in need.’
