Food and Nutrition

on

Our Upper V food groups are busy with their GCSE coursework, coming towards the end of their first piece at the end of this half term.

We wanted to show you the wonderful dishes they made as part of their preparation for GCSE.  This project, taken as a series of lessons, studies the complexities of planning, preparing, and cooking for people with special dietary needs.  Each dish shown has been selected to offer an excellent profile of nutrients and be visually interesting and delicious.  These factors would contribute to the mark profile in a GCSE practical exam.

We hope you enjoy seeing the students’ work and are inspired.
