Rosa captained her girls’ football team at the five-a-side Sheffield City U8 tournament in December. Her side made it to the knock-out stages, and Rosa scored the winning penalty in the semi-final to put them in the final – which they went on to win after another nail-biting penalty shootout which also went to sudden death. Rosa was so proud to lift the trophy because only five players from her 20-plus squad could make the two-day trip. With no subs, Rosa and her teammates played their socks off to return home the winners.
