In After School Care we celebrated Bonfire Night with fun, friends and firework themed activities. The girls enjoyed taking part in the different activities available. Colourful chalks and pastels were used to create fireworks on black card over a silhouette of a town and bright pens with rainbow streamers were used to create rocket fireworks that rustled in the wind as they flew them around over their heads.

As well as paper crafts, the girls enjoyed dipping breadsticks into melted chocolate before covering them in sprinkles to make their very own breadstick sparklers. When the sky got darker, the torches came out to help them find the hidden firework pictures around the garden. Using fantastic teamwork they managed to find all of the pictures, earning them a sticker to say that they completed the scavenger hunt!

It was a fun night made even better by sharing it with friends – and a slice of pizza for snack!
