Water play in early childhood provides an excellent opportunity for sensory exploration, motor skill development, and foundational learning in science, including observation, experimentation, problem-solving, and discovery.
Making the most of the sunny weather, children in Little Knellies eagerly embarked on their water investigation. Equipped with various objects such as measuring cups, containers, and toy vehicles, they explored how different items interact with water. Collaborating as a team, children set up a water play area, sharing ideas on balancing tubes on the stands and selecting the right-sized container for collecting water. Water play was both enjoyable and stimulating for the little ones, fostering creativity and curiosity.
