Last Saturday The Abbey’s ‘Enchanted Forest Escape Room’ was in Henley-on-Thames! The magical theme set the tone for a joyful day full of anticipation and pride in accomplishment.

Children entered the ‘Dark Den’ and worked their way through the forest, solving challenges that tested their knowledge and skills in Geography and Maths to Science and English. As Head Will le Fleming describes, “Only by solving them all can they save the forest, unlock the treasure box and escape. It’s fun and challenging and delightful and inventive, which is pretty much what we aim for in all of our educational experiences.”

The cheers of ‘we escaped!’ followed by smiling faces emerging from the ‘forest’ kept spirits high throughout the day.

It was such a joy welcoming families and friends to take part and introduce them to everything The Abbey represents.
