Emily in ‘We Will Rock You’ at Newbury Corn Exchange

on

I enjoyed performing in front of loads of people because I could show off all the hard work and effort we had put in to making the production. I also liked that I wasn’t just singing and dancing, there were some acting scenes involved as well. I experienced what it is like being on the stage in the theatre and giving people what they came for – to see the show, their children performing and to give them a big round of applause but most of all to have fun. The best part of the show I thought was at the end when you could wave to family and friends and the other part I thought was great was when you came out of the theatre and everyone started cheering because they were so proud of you. During the performances and the rehearsals I made new friends and gained a lot from this experience which I will use in my drama performances at school!! I can’t wait for the next performance our company will do which is … Annie!
