Last week, Abbey alumnae Alice and Shruti came in to talk about their experience of studying Economics at university. Alice is currently at the University of Exeter while Shruti is doing a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at King’s College London.

Their talks contrasted what it is like to study at a campus university like Exeter with the urban environment of King’s College London. They told us about their courses, the modules, the workload at university compared to at school, their part-time jobs, commute patterns, and generally how they spend their days. They shared details from their social life too, including budgeting tips and how they make the most of the university experience.
