Eco-Council Assembly

on

Today, the Junior Eco Council held an assembly to “Save our Eco Garden.” They have completed their annual Environmental Review for our Eco Schools accreditation and discovered that the Eco Garden was in need of a little love and attention. They have collected old toys and litter and are now planning a gardening club for the end of spring term, into the summer term.

The plan is to remove any dead vegetation, tidy up flower beds and encourage biodiversity by filling bird feeders and planting wildflower meadow seeds.

Gardening club will be on Tuesdays, from 11:50am-12:25pm. If you are interested, just pop along. We have 10 spaces which will change each week, but we will try our best to let as many people have an opportunity. So if you think you have a green thumb, we could really use your help!
