The Abbey headed to Downe House School on Thursday for the annual English Schools’ Athletic Association Cross Country Cup Competition. The Junior years completed the course well with April being the standout finishing 2nd in a very competitive race! The rest of the team ran incredibly well on a testing course, with Yukki finishing 27th, Jinxin 30th, Charlotte 46th and Lois 47th. The intermediate girls were next with a fantastic run from Stephanie coming best of the team in 12th position, followed by Anaya in 30th, Rosa in 37th, Milla in 41st and Georgia in 45th position. The Senior girls had the toughest race with a 5km that was considerably muddy being the penultimate race of the day! Grace finished first for the team coming a respectable 7th place with Matilda N finishing 10th, Matilda S 11th and Amelia 22nd.
