On Friday five students from Lower IV to Lower V competed in the Berkshire Schools Combined Events Championships in Reading. They had to compete in a pentathlon over the day consisting of hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot and the 800m.

They did superbly in all events against some strong contenders. In the junior age group Pippa came 19th and Matilda an excellent 9th with a convincing win in the 800m. In the inters age group Myleene was 8th, Gabby was 7th and Ruby 5th, some fantastic results in the whole of Berkshire. Well done to these athletes.
