Cologne, Chocolate and Cathedrals!

on

At the beginning of the Easter Holidays, Lower V German students boarded a plane bound for Cologne. During the trip, we packed in a wide variety of activities. On the first full day there, the sun was shining and we took in the sights of this beautiful city, including the stunning Cologne cathedral, the tallest twin-spired church in the world!

Also on the agenda was a trip to the famous Lindt Schokolade Museum, home of the Lindt bunny. We learned about the history of the company, saw how the chocolate is made and even got to enjoy some free samples! This was followed by the interactive Sports Museum and a trip to the cinema.

On the last day, we soaked up the sun on a boat trip along the Rhein river before heading home. Overall the trip was a great opportunity to explore this fantastic city and put some language skills into action.
