Club Netball

Congratulations to Amelie (Upper I) who played her first netball match with Woodley netball club! She played a mixture of Goal Keeper, Wing attack and Wing defence and had a fantastic time!

ISTD Disco, Freestyle and Rock and Roll competition

Sports scholar Eleanor in Upper IV competed in the first qualifying event of the ISTD Disco, Freestyle and Rock and Roll competition season. She had a fantastic day with her dance school friends, partner and team achieving a first place and qualification for the Grand National finals in Guildford this coming October in 3 events. Individually she performed and won in her freestyle set dance, category, dancing with her partner they qualified in Rock and Roll and to top off the success Eleanor was part of the winning over 16 Advanced Team who demonstrated a variety of dance styles to a music medley. Overall it was a fabulous day with Eleanor making finals in all 5 events she was a part of – well done Eleanor!

Rosa raises £1,540 for Sands Charity.

A while back Rosa was raising money for Sands (stillbirth and neonatal death society) charity and has recently received a certificate from Sands after raising more than £1,500. We are all very proud of her, and we want to thank everyone in the school community and beyond who supported this important cause.
