Climate Action House Event

on

During lunchtime on Friday 11 November over 200 staff and students from the Senior School attended the first Climate Action event of the year at The Abbey. By raising awareness of climate change through getting active, the event was part of a worldwide initiative in which schools from all over the world took part.

Students took part in a wide range of activities, from hula hooping for fifteen seconds while answering questions on climate change, to completing the recycle bin throwing challenge, to viewing the eco reps presentation on ways we can prevent climate change. All who attended were asked to think about climate change and how we can act together to prevent it.

Following a successful first event the Eco Council looks forward to running further events raising awareness of climate change.
