This year’s Christmas lunch was nothing short of spectacular, bringing our whole school community together in the warm, festive spirit of the season. From the moment the girls arrived in the Knell Dining Hall, Kensington Dining Hall, and Kensington Hall, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter, and the unmistakable smell of a proper Christmas feast.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Holroyd Howe, who truly pulled out all the stops to make the occasion unforgettable. From the decorations to the food itself, every detail was crafted with care, helping turn a normal school lunchtime into something magical.

And of course, we can’t talk about Christmas lunch without mentioning the stars of the show: the pigs in blankets. They were so delicious that, even after lunch had officially finished, I caught a whole gaggle of girls huddled around, happily polishing off the leftovers. If anything proves how good they were, it’s that!

More than anything, Christmas lunch reminded us of what this season is all about — coming together, sharing good food, and celebrating the friendships and community that make our school so special. Seeing everyone gathered, enjoying each other’s company, was a perfect reflection of the true spirit of Christmas.
Wishing everyone a joyful festive season and a very Happy New Year!
