Christmas has officially arrived in Before and After School Care! To start us off, the children made intricate paper snowflakes and snowmen suncatchers which we used to decorate the windows in the dining room. Then the girls in Before School Care had a blast decorating the BASC Christmas tree, whilst singing along to Christmas songs. Although I think at one point they got a bit confused and started wrapping their friends in the tinsel! To continue on with the Christmas fun, the December theme in BASC is Winter Wonderland so all of the crafts have been Christmassy. The girls have made penguin tree decorations, paper plate trees and even used paint and sponge stamps to make their own wrapping paper to use for their parents’ presents. We have also been enjoying Just Dance in After School Care, doing some Christmas themed ones alongside their regular favourites. There’s even more festive fun to be had before the term ends and we’re excited to see what we’ll get up to!
