Chinese New Year

on

Upper Prep students shared their Chinese New Year celebrations and stories this week.

Zifei commented, “We celebrate Chinese New Year by getting together and eating a big meal. We celebrated Chinese New Year in class by handing out sweets and telling stories”

Lower I celebrated Chinese New Year with students learning about the year of the Tiger. They also participated in Chinese dancing and created beautiful dragons! They had a fantastic day and were sent home with a traditional fortune cookie.
Whilst at the Senior School, students at the Chinese Language Club also joined in the celebrations.
