Celebrating Mental Health Day in Before and After School Care

on

Ahead of Mental Health Day (Friday 10 October), the children have been creating and sharing positivity all week through their crafts in Before and After School Care. The children have enjoyed decorating the playground with colourful chalk hearts as well as crafting positivity flowers, either wearing them as badges or making them into magnets, to bring smiles to people’s faces. They made them bright and colourful and some even added inspiring quotes!

The project that the children are most proud of is the positivity stone area they have added to the eco garden. Stones were decorated with positive messages and colourful patterns and pictures before being added to the eco garden by the children in Before School Care, along with a handmade sign to remind everyone to ‘plant positivity.’ They children have really enjoyed this group project and hope that it will bring joy to their friends and teachers.
