Celebrating Difference in PSHE

on

This half term in PSHE, we are focusing on Celebrating Difference. We kicked things off with an introductory assembly, where we quickly realised how dull life would be if everyone looked the same and liked the same things! Together, we celebrated the wonderful diversity within our school community and the fact that each of us is unique. We also explored the ways we are similar and different to one another and even learned some fun animal facts along the way. Did you know that a snail can sleep for up to three years, and that crocodiles can’t stick out their tongues? These fascinating facts reminded us that every living thing is special in its own way. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be exploring these ideas further in class, linking them to Anti-Bullying Week next week, and continuing to celebrate what makes each of us wonderfully different.
