All Abbey families are invited to join us after school on Monday 1 December for our annual Candlelit Carols Procession.

Approximate timings:

15.30 Mini fair at the Junior School on Kensington Quad

16.30 Carols outside at the Junior School

16:40 Walk down to Senior School with lanterns

17.00 Carols outside Senior School by Christmas tree followed by seasonal refreshments and festive music from the Rock Band

Where: Starting at the Junior School with the fair and carols, then walking with lanterns down Kendrick Road to the Senior School for more music and refreshments.

Who: This is a free event open to all Abbey families – Abbey students, siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, carers, guardians – anyone who would like to enjoy some festive fun. All are welcome to join for part of or the whole event.

The walking route: We will walk past Christ Church and down the length of Kendrick Road. Marshals will be on hand to assist with crossings. We ask all families to stay together and for parents to be responsible for their children’s safety.

The candles: We warmly encourage all those attending to bring either a candle in a closed lantern, such as a tealight lantern, or an electronic flickering candle.
