British Science Week

on

We have been celebrating British Science Week at The Abbey, sharing our passion for girls in science! We kicked off the week with an engaging assembly, led by our enthusiastic Science Captains and Science Ambassadors, who introduced this year’s theme, ‘Change and Adapt.’ Throughout the week, students have participated in a variety of exciting activities, including an inter-house science quiz for Lower I to Lower III, hosted by Richard Osman, as well as exploding rockets, making lava lamps, and the thrilling Curly Wurly Challenge. Who will use their science knowledge to create the longest Curly Wurly? Upper Prep students also had the opportunity to visit the lab for a house quiz run by our Lower III Science Captains. It’s been a fantastic, action-packed week filled with hands-on learning and lots of fun! We’re excited to judge the entries for the lab coat competition.
