Aspire – Lower V Looking Ahead and Aim High Day

on

Lower V students had a full packed day on Wednesday that began in the morning with taking a Morrisby Psychometric test. This produces a bespoke Morrisby Profile that finds out what makes them tick, and acts as a springboard for making the choices which lie ahead in Sixth Form and beyond. Students were really impressed with how accurate they were.

Then students attended a superb Resilience Workshop where they learned techniques to help them to navigate their futures – through both good times and bad.

In the afternoon students took part in Career Speed Dating with a wide variety of career professionals, each offering four  minutes of information and advice before the bell rang and everyone moved to their next appointment.

The buzz in the Hardcastle Hall was palpable. A huge thank you to Abbey School parents who kindly volunteered to take time off from their busy schedules to make this happen – it was the highlight of the day!
