Just before the half term holiday Reception children went on a shopping trip to the local Tesco Express.

Each group was given the responsibility of buying an ingredient on our shopping list, paying with a £5 note.

It was a great chance for us to practice road safety, taking turns, using good manners and handling money. Later that same week, the children used their bought ingredients to bake jam tarts in the Junior School Fab Lab. Delicious!
