On Tuesday, we played our second netball match in the School Sport Magazine Cup.
We were drawn against Queen Annes. Despite this being only our second game, we were so excited to play. We have a really good team and continue working out all our best combinations. When the whistle blew to start the first quarter, we got off to a flier, working the ball well down the court and scoring.
Both teams were relatively even for the first five minutes, but we started to pull away as our passing and movement improved. We focused on a particular part of our play each quarter and made good use of our rotations, and by half-time, the score was 18-4.

We continued to play well in the second half. Our defence were quick to pick up any loose balls and got so many crucial tips and interceptions. Our mid-court players brought the ball down well and worked well on the circle edge, providing plenty of opportunities for our shooters. At full-time, the score was 31-8.

We are looking forward to playing against Millfield in the next round.
