And Representing Great Britain – Carys Westcott!

on

We’re delighted to share with you that Lower V student, Carys, became an international silver medallist in the Biathle competition last weekend.

This biathle consisted of a 1200m run, a 200m swim, followed by another 1200m run. Wearing her Team GB kit, Carys completed all of this in high temperatures of 26 degrees in Madeira. Carys was one of only five athletes in her age group nationally to qualify for this meet and she came away with a 2nd placed finish!

This was her very first international competition, and we’re sure there will be many more to come! A big well done from all of us, Carys.
