Anaya (Lower IV), recently made a splash at the Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire ASA county and age group swimming championships. The competition, held over the course of two weekends in January, saw Anaya win a total of 8 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals in events ranging from 100M freestyle to 400M medley.

Anaya’s impressive haul of gold medals included victories in the 100M, 200M, 400M, and 800M freestyle events, as well as the 100M butterfly, 100M backstroke, and 200M and 400M medley events. She also won a silver medal in the 1500M freestyle and a bronze in the 200M backstroke. To top it off, Anaya was part of a silver medal-winning 4x100M medley team relay.

Miss Mogio, Anaya’s form tutor, is incredibly proud of her achievements. “Anaya’s hard work and dedication to the sport have paid off. Her performance at the Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire ASA championships was outstanding, and we’re looking forward to seeing what she can do at the Swim England South East Regional Championships in April.”

In addition to her success at the age group championships, Anaya also won a bronze medal in the under 14 Junior County Championships for the 400M.

Well done, Anaya!
