Abbey Alumna Emily Blacknell (2016 leaver) spoke to Lower V Abbey students about equality in the workplace. Emily works for law firm Pinsent Mason as a D&I consultant and has a particular interest in employment rights.

Students were engaged and motivated by the conversation. “On Monday we had a guest speaker who gave us a really interesting talk about sexism and prejudices in the workplace and what we can do to prevent it. We found it really informative to learn about problems minorities can have in professional spaces and what people can do to help them. It was also cool to hear about her real life experience in the industry.”
