BBC Radio Berkshire asked The Abbey School to create 100 Purple Hearts to commemorate and celebrate the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Upper I and Upper II have had the pleasure of decorating and writing messages of thanks to the Queen for her many years of service.

These hearts will be displayed outside Windsor Castle for the public to visit. The students took their time to research and explore the Queen’s life to help them decorate their hearts.
