During half term, around 50 students from Lower and Upper VI travelled to Disneyland Paris for what proved to be a thoroughly magical and memorable trip.

We were welcomed into the park by Mickey Mouse himself, setting the tone for a day full of excitement. Students spent the day exploring both parks in friendship groups and making the most of the rides, including favourites such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Peter Pan’s Flight.

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the opportunity to spend time together outside the classroom and approaching the day with such enthusiasm. The parade was a particular hit, with favourites like Moana, Woody and Elsa making their way up Main Street. Even the rain failed to dampen spirits, and the atmosphere throughout remained positive.
As evening fell, we regrouped to watch the fireworks, complete with light show and spectacular fountains. The projections onto the castle were particularly impressive and provided a fitting end to the long (13 hour!) day.

With smooth ferry crossings both ways and everyone returning safely (if slightly tired), it was an excellent trip from start to finish. Our thanks go to the staff who generously gave up part of their holiday to make the visit possible.
We are already looking ahead to running the trip again in 2028 and to welcoming the current Fifth Form when they reach Sixth Form.
