A Level PE Trip to GoPerform

on

On Tuesday, our Lower VI and Upper VI A-Level PE students enjoyed a fantastic visit to GoPerform in Reading, exploring the world of sports science and human performance.

The visit was a great opportunity to see some of their A-Level PE learning in action, with students exploring physiological testing, VO₂ max, lactate threshold, injury prevention, rehabilitation, movement screening and strength and conditioning. They also enjoyed speaking with the experts at GoPerform and finding out more about how these areas are used to support athletes and improve performance.

It was great to see the students putting their classroom knowledge into a real-world sporting context and learning more about the different careers available within the sports industry. A really enjoyable and valuable experience for everyone!
